Accessing services
As a student you’ll have access to all University of Edinburgh services online. You’ll use these services to access a range of resources to support your study, including your course materials and library resources, your student record details, and your University email account.
MyEd
Once you’ve accepted an unconditional offer of a place on your programme, and approximately six weeks prior to the start of teaching, you’ll be given access to MyEd: the University of Edinburgh’s web portal and the gateway to web-based services. You will have access to your student emails via MyEd.
Initially you’ll have limited access to University services through MyEd, however, you will be able to access more resources closer to the start of your studies. You will log into MyEd using your EASE login which you will have received when you submitted your application via our online application system EUCLID.
Learn
Through MyEd, you’ll also have access to your online learning environment ‘Learn’, where you’ll participate in your studies: access course materials and resources; interact with tutors and fellow students and benefit from a range of resources and materials to get you ready for study, and support you in your studies throughout the year.
In addition to individual course areas, you’ll have access to the online programme community hub where you can meet other students and the programme team online. The community hub will also provide a range of resources and information to support your studies.
Access to Learn becomes available during induction week from 5 September.
